Questions shop owners ask
Do I need to know computers or coding?
No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use Lani. You type your products in, add photos from your phone, and your shop is built for you.
Where does my customers’ money go?
Straight to you: your M-Pesa till, paybill, bank or cash. Lani never holds your money and takes nothing from your sales.
What is a domain name, and do I need one?
It is your shop’s address online, like yourshop.co.ke. You buy it from any registrar and renew it with them each year. Connecting it to Lani is included, and we’ll help if you’re not sure how.
Will my shop really show on Google?
Your shop is built the way Google likes and we tell Google about your products. Google decides when to show them, so no one can promise a day. Your dashboard shows which products Google has found.
What happens if I don’t renew on time?
You get a reminder and a grace period. Your shop stays online while you pay. Paying early never loses you days: the new year starts when the old one ends.
Can I have more than one shop?
Yes. Each shop has its own website, team and subscription, all under one login.
